Manic Monday for May 4th

mmlogo Manic Monday for May 4th

Which household chore do you dislike the most?

I dislike them all, but the ones that really get me are laundry and dishes. It’s a never ending battle. As soon as the kitchen is spotless it’s time to cook a meal. As soon as every scrap of laundry is washed and folded it’s time to change into pajamas or whatnot. It’s not like washing windows or scrubbing a toilet. With those, you’re good for at least a week.

What’s the best museum you’ve ever visited?

I haven’t seen many I guess. I really like all kids museums. Hands on activities rock!

It’s Star Wars Day today. I’ve never seen any of the Star Wars movies. What “common” movies haven’t you seen?

I think I’ve got most oldies covered. I don’t see many new ones, so I haven’t seen that Twilight movie yet. {collective gasp from the aduience} Yes, I know.

Three posts in one day?!

What’s your favorite beach in the world?

I’ve actually only been to a few beaches… The beach in San Diego was crowded, dirty and pretty much ghetto — not my first choice. The only other beach I’ve been to are the ones in Rocky Point, Mexico. So I’ll have to answer this question after I’ve traveled the world a little bit more.

What’s the next country you want to visit?

Ireland, hands down, though Germany, Belgium and Asutrailia are all pretty evenly tied for second.

What one thing are you craving today?

Does peace and quiet count? Or a maid? I am craving a meal that someone else cooks for me and cleans up afterwards. Or a prime rib from Outback, I always crave those. Or Honey Hot chicken wings from The Vine. I should probably go cook dinner now.

If you knew that every minute of the next 24 hours of your life would be recorded on camera is there anything you would change about your habits?

Well, I’d probably stop picking my nose… No just kidding. Maybe. I might try to kinda spice things up since my life is pretty boring and repetitious. Maybe throw together a flambé’ for the kids’ breakfast and wear fishnets? I’d be more concious about how frizzy my hair is. It’s gotten kinda uncontrollable lately. Oh and not so much cussing under my breath. Cameras catch that kinda stuff don’t they?

If you could take a one-month trip to any single destination in the world and money is not a consideration, where would you go?

Wow, I really never planned that far ahead. There’s many single destinations I’d love to go, but for a month? Possibly Dublin or Prague or Madrid — ya know, the bigger places that had a months worth of stuff to do. Or a nice little cottage in the middle of nowhere with green as far as the eye can see and a median temperature of about 70.

What is the best example of “perfection” that you can think of?

Breastmilk and breastfeeding. Seriously. Name me one other substance that is so incredibly powerful that it alone can triple a person’s size, in a healthy way, while nourishing the brain and promoting emotional growth and tactile stimulus.

Manic Monday for April 29th

Is there anything for which you would willingly give your life?

Absolutely. My Children. Enough Said.

How would you communicate with someone if you didn’t share a common language?

Lots of wild arm flailing and hand gestures. Maybe drawing. We know quite a bit of American Sign Language, but that’s American Sign Language and most likely the said encounter is not taking place in America or with a Native-born American so it would be a moot point.

Where is your ideal place/location to have a wedding?

I dunno. I was always one of those little girls who dreamed of the big perfect church wedding. But church just doesn’t do it for me these days. I’d love a nice outdoor wedding but that would most likely have to take place out of state which would be expensive. Hell, at this point a JP behind a dumpster would be good, but I keep getting the feeling that Matt’s stalling on purpose. icon sad Manic Monday for April 29th

Manic Monday for April 21st

gse multipart37467 Manic Monday for April 21st

Who is the black sheep in your family/group?

I think it would probably be me, honestly. You do really stupid things when you’re young without thinking about the effect it has on others. I don’t talk to much of my family now, and when I do I always feel an underlying tension. Maybe that’s all in my head though.

If you were a character from a book, what character would you be?

Hmm… Any book? That’s alot to choose from. For some reason Alice from Alice in Wonderland popped up first — Maybe because I’m lost and confused alot. If I could choose the character, maybe one of the elves from Tolkien’s World?

What’s your favorite accent?

I love just about any accent, except for Spanish ones but I think that’s because I hear it alot here in Arizona. I especially melt over Irish, British and Australian. Canadian accents are very nice too.

Hop on over and join us at Manic Monday!
