Rockin’ the Phoenix Zoo for St. Pats Day
My mother-in-law, Ann, treated me and the boys to the Phoenix Zoo today. We had a blast!
Declan rode a camel, who he named Bill. All by himself too!
They hugged a Komodo Dragon, who they couldn’t decide on a proper name for.
They proved that Cotton Candy will be this years newest accessory.
And rode the Safari Train.
Of course there were animals too.
We had a lot of fun!
Now that the weather is warming up, what are you and your kids doing for some fun and sun?

Well, let me see …I let the ‘kids’ out in the back yard for about 30 minutes a day .. the Big guy tried to go over the fence but just missed it by 2 rows of bricks … ROFL ..he was to funny .. landed on his back …got up …shook himself off ..as if to say ..“I’m JUST fine ..don’t call 911 ” .…Then we take the flyswatter and ‘heard’ those minature mountain lions back into the house .…Is that OK? .…Love the pictures taken at the Zoo.… can remember taking you Mom and Uncle Darrin when they were that age ..!!! Ah, how time flies.….……Hug’em while you still can …XOOXOXOOXOXO Gmx Betty

I love seeing post about parents or adult role model spending time with children. Now that I am older I wish I appreciate those moments more. When I go to the zoo or family time since we’re all separated by our own lives.

Please tell me that wasn’t a real Komodo Dragon?! My mom took me to the zoo in Oregon this summer– and I got to pet baby lions. They were really cute, but it was still nerve racking to get in there with them.
The boy is really cute. It reminds me of my childhood days where I spent my holidays in the nearby zoo, with my friends. But they did not have a camel. We had enjoyed in adopting the jaguar of his speed and action, mimicking the chimpanzee etc. Thanks for reminding those memories. Now am old and I have grand children for the same age as that of that boy! I loved to spent time with my grand children too. The pics are really cool… Yeah I mean it!
