Sunday Stash #1

Hey! Thanks for stopping by. If you're new here, you may want to subscribe to my RSS feed. Thanks for visiting!

So I decided to join in Sunday Stash started by Tamara of 1/4 of an inch. The idea is to air out some of your stash and maybe get some inspiration.

This is one of my favorite fabrics. I picked it up on clearance when a local Hancocks was going out of business. I’m not sure what to do with it though. Of course I bought 2 yards… just in case

 Nerds Rock!

This is a lovely little 1 yard piece that I just picked up at GoodWill this Saturday. $1.50! Go Me! It is Alexander Henry’s "The Great Pumpkin".

Underneath both of these is a huge piece of yummy corduroy that I also scored at the thrift store also. It’s a rusty reddish brown that will make great fall or winter projects. I intend to use it for steampunk costumes, of course.

If you’d care to join in, hop on over and tell Tamara that you’d like to play too.

Love that top one! Loving your blog, your header image is gorgeous!

Wowey I love your Nerd print! I would love to find some of that somewhere, what are you going to make with it?! Its gotta be something a bit nerdy or peculiar! Maybe a nerdy monster plush or a kids backpack or you could cover your kids school books in it that would be crazy, although Im not sure are they old enough to have school books yet? Thanks for taking a look at my stash, I’m going to have to find something a little more interesting this Sunday as the internet does not convey the beautiful smell of my fabric well enough! Being in the medical field, its very interesting to read your views on child birth and I’ll definately be back to read more….all the best :)
