A funny

Five surgeons from big cities are discussing who makes the Best patients to operate on. The first surgeon, from New York, says, “I like to see accountants on my operating table because when you open them up, everything inside is numbered.”
The second, from Chicago, responds, “Yeah, but you should try electricians! Everything inside them is color coded.”
The third surgeon, from Dallas, says, “No, I really think librarians are the best, everything inside them is in alphabetical order”
The fourth surgeon, from Los Angeles, chimes in: “You know, I like construction workers. Those guys always understand when you have a few parts left over.”
But the fifth surgeon, from Washington, DC, shut them all up when he observed: “You’re all wrong. Politicians are the easiest to operate on.. There’s no guts, no heart, no balls, no brains and no spine, and the head and the rear end are interchangeable.

Attack!
Recently my husband yelled down the hall at me “Is Declan allowed to be playing with your camera?” I responded with a resounding “NO!”
This is some of what I found: (Please ignore the dirty bedroom!)

AAHHHH!

For a three year old this isn’t too bad of a capture series, huh?
Do you, or would you ever, let your children play wih a camera to see what comes out?
Sunday Stash #1

So I decided to join in Sunday Stash started by Tamara of 1/4 of an inch. The idea is to air out some of your stash and maybe get some inspiration.
This is one of my favorite fabrics. I picked it up on clearance when a local Hancocks was going out of business. I’m not sure what to do with it though. Of course I bought 2 yards… just in case

This is a lovely little 1 yard piece that I just picked up at GoodWill this Saturday. $1.50! Go Me! It is Alexander Henry’s “The Great Pumpkin”.

Underneath both of these is a huge piece of yummy corduroy that I also scored at the thrift store also. It’s a rusty reddish brown that will make great fall or winter projects. I intend to use it for steampunk costumes, of course.
If you’d care to join in, hop on over and tell Tamara that you’d like to play too.
