Keep us in your thoughts please.

Awesome, you came back!! Thanks for visiting!

Since Friday Declan has had what we thought was food poisoning. That in and of it self is just a nasty stressful time. I think I’ve scrubbed vomit/poop out of the carpet at least 6 times. Anyone who knows me well knows that I don’t do vomit. Period.

Unfortunately it seems that it’s not food poisoning because now the littlest guy is running a huge fever and had a blowout in bed last night – on my side. This is the baby that poops once every week to two weeks. Poor guy.  All he wants to do is sleep on me and all I want is to not have a personal heater while it’s 100 degrees outside. It’s got to be some kind of stomach bug.

Just think about us and hope we come through this soon.

Katie… that’s like what Del had. Regardless of what it is, make sure the boys get lots of fluids, and if they are wayyy sleepy and it’s hard to wake them even after hours of sleep, or if ALL they want to do is sleep, have the doc check them out. Their little bodies can get dehydrated in a matter of hours, and it just looks like listlessness to the rest of us. Not only that, but their bodies have a hard time overcoming sickness without proper fluids, so they stay sick longer.

I hope those little guys stay strong and get rid of this ickiness. I love you all and wish you the best. Sorry for my absentee-ism… I feel like I’m always on the run anymore. I would say that I would pray for you, but that’s not really my thing. I am thinking of you and Declan and Rowan every day, even it is sometimes because I call a little blonde boy in my room by Declan’s name (It’s happened 3 times thus far!).
