Hey! Thanks for stopping by. If you're new here, you may want to subscribe to my RSS feed. Thanks for visiting!

What’s your favorite thing to spend money on?

The Boys, or craft supplies. It’s so much easier to shop for clothes for people that wear a “normal” size. Shopping for me is a depressing, sweaty experience. I also love to see it when they liked something I picked out, but hey that’s a great feeling. As for craft supplies it’s a double edged sword. I love to shop, so I feel like I’m not totally blowing money, but on the other hand my projects are lowest priority in my house, so sometimes the $100 of fabric I had to have just collects dust.

I also love to shop for decor, but it’s also another low priority to the “decor-ally challenged” boys in my house and the AWESOME vase I found just doesn’t flow with the finger smudges, tape measures and dinosaurs that the boys proudly display.

If you could retire tomorrow what would you do?

It depends on what you mean by retire. If it meant that I no longer had to conform to the demands and schedules set by the kids, then I think I’d travel and try and hone my meager photography skills. There are so many amazing places I’d like to see and experience.

If you mean retire by no longer doing daycare, well, then it would be exactly the same thing tomorrow just one or two less PB&Js to make.

Should anything be censored and if so, what and why?

For adults I don’t see any reason to. Make the decision yourself, don’t let someone else decide what you can and can’t see/hear/experience/etc.

For children, yes. I had my tragus pierced yesterday and during the procedure a comment was made regarding a Deathproof movie poster in the room. I said I had tried to watch it, but when the movie finally picked up (it’s one of those horrid Tarantino movies that are so slow to get started) it was just too hard to try and explain to a 2 year old why the girl wasn’t wearing a seatbelt and promptly had her skull obliterated because of it. There are just some things that a child doesn’t have the… experience(?) to comprehend, though I firmly believe that children are smarter than we are by far.
